Epicity

^ Excited to start working on this as a Lighting Technical Assistant at Blue Sky Studios! Just finished my first week at the studio and it's been great!

For the past 3 months, I had the privilege of working as a freelance 3D artist at BLT Communications on some awesome movie posters. Unfortunately, only one of them has been publicly released. I only contributed to a tiny fraction of the pixels on this one (modeled the bases underneath the armors), but still! Click to view larger!

Couldn't have asked for a better summer! Back to school this weekend and hopefully back to posting more on here and on my thesis blog.

summer!

So summer plans- got into the Technical Undergraduate Program internship at Pixar! So will be in California for the summer and working on thesis prep during my free time.. As well as enjoying Cali of course.

And here's a quick test I did using TV Paint- I'm trying to familiarize myself with it. A lot of beautiful films were made using this program so I wanted to explore.. I used the watercolor brushes for these. (You can't really see the textures of the brushes I used thanks to the horrible upload quality..)
